Machshava Tova is a non-profit organization, established in 2003, which aims to narrow social gaps in Israel by providing technological education to underprivileged groups, and thus minimizing the digital divide between then and the rest of the population. Since its inception, Machshava Tova has served more than 17,000 individuals, enabling them to advance themselves both socially and economically.
Machshava Tova's Eco-Tech program trains youth-at-risk as computer technicians who refurbish old computers and donate them to the needy. The program allows youth to acquire professional skills, hands-on experience and professional training. The environment benefits from the program as well. Waste material which would have ended up polluting the environment is refurbished and reused, promoting a sustainable approach which will benefit us all.
